The Institute acknowledges and contributes to a growing body of scholarly literature on the subject of faith and learning. Among other things, this literature is variously attentive to the role of religion in American higher education, the resourcefulness of Christian intellectual traditions in addressing contemporary academic concerns, the implications of faith for teaching and the classroom, and the centrality of calling or vocation as a means for understanding the responsibilities Christians bear in the academy.
Given the quantity and quality of scholarship now available, we cannot provide an exhaustive list of relevant resources. However, what we include here represents some of the significant interests taken up one way or another within the scope of the Institute's work.
