Dr. Kevin Villegas, Dean of Intercultural Engagement and Division of Student Life Initiatives at Baylor, will kick off our first Formation Series lecture of the semester. His talk is titled, “Friendship for the Common Good.” He will be considering those relationships that happen in the public square—we might call them civic friendships. How can we begin to think about fostering friendships with those very different from us, but with whom we share this common life in our communities.
