Elijah Jeong
Elijah Jeong (B.A., University of Washington; M.A., Wheaton College; M.Div., Reformed Theological Seminary; Ph.D., Baylor University) is the interim director of Baylor's Institute for Faith and Learning (IFL). His role involves directing various IFL projects, programs, and events, including the Baylor Symposium on Faith and Culture, Communio, Missio, and the Crane Scholars Program.
Elijah's scholarly interests include creating structures and environments that foster faculty, staff, and student formation and belonging as well as the intersection of race and higher education administration. His work has been published in the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, Journal of Scientific Study of Religion, and Christian Higher Education.
Elijah has wide-ranging experience in various educational and administrative roles, including serving as a high school teacher, pastor, lecturer, and higher education administrator. He has worked in academic and student affairs at three different higher education institutions.
